Dawn of a new year 2011

It is 2011 already and the new year promises to be harbinger of change for me personally. In the middle of a short sabbatical, a period of introspection on this journey of life, spending quality time with family and growing stronger wings, I just cannot wait to get started to do the things I love this new year. There is so much to look forward to, following the clarion call of bigger dreams, writing more, getting back to playing some sport or the other, maybe a few treks to let the soul waltz, lots on the anvil actually.

Happy new year wishes to all visitors to this blog and may this new year propel you to greater heights in terms of realizing potential and achieving all those dreams that you always wanted.

Looking back though there were some sparkling nuggets of wisdom that kept me grounded and gave me real direction in 2010. These proverbs/ sayings were messaged to me by a dear friend, lots of time these messages came when actually I needed some clarity of thought and direction and it really kept me going. Quite a few of them were lost when they were accidentally deleted when taking a backup during a firmware upgrade for my mobile phone. I guess it is apt that the rest forms part of this new year post, bootstrapping the year 2011 with positive energy and cheer that overflows the brim.
